Since graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in ethnomusicology, Liu Yun has been bringing Chinese traditional music and its culture to US audiences.
Now working at the Houston Chinese Traditional Music Group as president assistant, Liu helps organize concerts and promote traditional Chinese music in the city and beyond.
