By Xie Yi Updated Sept.18

More overseas Chinese students are opting to return home after graduation, with better employment prospects and support networks cited by many as important reasons.

According to statistics from the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), over 2.6 million overseas students have already returned to China from their foreign studies and the number is still growing. The government said 82.23 per cent of students who studied abroad returned to China last year, up from 72.38 per cent in 2012.

In this video, four Chinese students gave NewsChina their reasons for returning home.
