What can the Chinese Mainland Offer Hong Kong?

The past two decades since Hong Kong's return to the motherland have witnessed the successful implementation of the principle of "one country, two systems" and the Basic Law of the Hong Kong SAR. With sustained prosperity and stability, and impressive achievements on various fronts, Hong Kong continues to serve as an international financial, trade and shipping hub, and features prominently in international rankings on the ease of doing business and competitiveness as the world's freest economy. 

In this interview, Dr. Sean C Xia, president of the US-China Advanced Institute for International Business, shares his thoughts on how the development of the Chinese mainland helped the economy of Hong Kong and what can Hong Kong do to seize more opportunities.
